Getting a new fence should not be complicated. Here is how a typical project runs with us, from the first phone call to the day we clear the site.
1. Tell us what you need
Call us on (973) 992-3665 or send us the details. We will ask what you are trying to achieve — privacy, security, keeping a dog or a pool safe, or simply the look of the property — and roughly how much of the boundary you want covered.
2. Site visit and measure
We come out, walk the line with you and measure properly. Ground conditions, slope, existing structures and where the boundary actually sits all change what is possible, so this is worth doing in person rather than from a map.
3. Choosing materials
We will talk through wood, ornamental, vinyl, composite, chain link and deer fencing, and be straight with you about how each behaves over time in New Jersey weather and what each costs to maintain.
4. Your estimate
You get a written estimate covering materials, labour and the removal of any existing fence. Estimates are free and there is no obligation.
5. Property lines, permits and utilities
Many townships require a permit for a new fence, and some communities have HOA rules on height and style. Before any post goes in the ground, underground utilities must be marked — see avoiding underground utilities for why this matters.
6. Installation
Our own crews do the work. We set posts, hang the panels or pickets, fit gates and hardware, and take the old material away with us.
7. Walk the finished job
We walk the completed fence with you before we leave, check every gate swings and latches properly, and make sure you are happy with how it has been left.
